A husband, a father of two lovely kids, a full time engineer and a passionate triathlete. I started my journey into endurance sports in 2012, I ran a local 20km race and managed to get to the finish line in one piece after 2h19, happy and proud. During the race, I got passed by thousands of runners but I still remember one in particular. A very old man, probably in his 70s, passed me around the 10th kilometer. He looked like he was walking fast rather than running. I tried to keep up the pace with him, but I failed after few hundred meters, a very embarrassing moment. It felt like a wake-up call. I thought I was still young and should be able to run a bit faster. I started training regularly since January 2013. The same year I got hooked to triathlons. Since then I got fitter, I got faster and my dreams got bigger. I completed few marathons and Ironman 70.3s. I achieved my dream to complete an Ironman distance triathlon in Challenge Roth 2017! My journey into endurance sports continues, my goal is to improve my performances and enjoy the process of training and racing!
